Absolute Poker Scam

Absolute Poker Scam! Massive Online Poker Cheating Scandal Uncovered. . .

Just what the online poker industry needs, a scandal. The scam apparently took place at Absolute Poker. Are they really cheating? Have you ever wondered if a player worked for the house? Well apparently at Absolute Poker the house plays too. This is nothing new in business. Bartenders scam the pub they work for now and then and the owners scam their employees. Absolute Poker scams the players; alledgedly the owner of the site is involved in this one. It’s a far cry from cracking open a few free beers for regular customers, I mean this one is big.

When a bank is robbed they usually do a background check of the employees at the bank, they’re the first suspects. Should the government regulate online poker sites like Absolute Poker? The question is now what sites are legitimate? The poker industry in the United States was crushed by recent legislation and now has a black eye again. Online poker cheating takes place in many forms for example collusion of a few players using Instant Messages. But this one is from the inside. An employee at Absolute Poker cracked the code of greed and used it to win a big tournament, literally cracking the code and seeing the hole cards. The culprit played ever hand but two in the first 20 minutes. The two hands that “The Cheat” didn’t play were at the beginning of the tournament when the other member of the team was late coming to the table as an observer. It was an unknown whistle blower on the inside who mailed all of the statistics to some angry poker players who then noticed some god-like play pre flop (the investigators found a hand KK vs. AA Pre Flop) Unless your Hellmuth this is an impossible fold…did I mention God? Phil you can thank me later. But anyway these guys were pretty stupid the scam took place by an observer watching the table of the eventual winner and telling them the exact whole cards of everyone at the table. What does the poker industry do now with a new weapon for the opponents of online poker? Thanks absolute Poker! Where do we go from here?
